Description of Services

• Verbify offers English editing and proofreading services for various types of written content, including but not limited to essays, articles, documents, manuscripts, and website content. Our team of professional editors and proof-readers will review your submitted content and provide suggestions, corrections, and improvements to enhance its clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall quality.

• No order is deemed to be placed automatically upon the submission of our Order/Sample Order form by you or upon communication of the placement of an order by our team through non-authorized channels.

• All order placements are final only upon specific communication in this regard followed by the sharing of payment details and a fractional payment done by you.

User Responsibilities

• You must ensure that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and legal authority to submit the content for editing and proofreading.

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you submit for editing.

• You must provide clear instructions and guidelines for the editing and proofreading process. In the absence of the same, Verbify reserves the right to implement the guidelines it deems most appropriate. 

• It is your responsibility to review and implement the suggested changes, improvements, and comments made by our editors. In the event that you forward our files without review, Verbify shall not be held responsible. 

Payments and Refunds

• A fractional payment for our services is required before the editing and proofreading process begins. This is at least 15% of the final payment.

• The remaining payment must be cleared at least 12 hours before the agreed upon delivery of your documents.

• We accept payment through the designated payment methods that will be shared with you upon approval of your order.

• All fees and charges are non-refundable once the editing and proofreading process has commenced.

• In the event of any technical issues or errors on our part that prevent us from providing the agreed-upon services, we will refund the payment in full.

• In case you are not satisfied with the edited documents, Verbify reserves the right to decide upon the quantum of refund, if any is to be given. 

Free and Paid Revisions

• In case you are unsatisfied with the final edited documents, Verbify reserves the right to decide upon the validity of the grounds for the same.

• You are entitled to one free revision, which may be extended to up to three free revisions to better meet your requirements at the discretion of Verbify.

• If new information has been added to the final edited documents, you are entitled to a paid revision, the terms of which shall be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery and Turnaround Time

• We strive to deliver the edited and proofread content within the agreed-upon timeframe.

• Clearing of 100% of the payment is a mandate before delivery of your edited documents.

• The turnaround time may vary depending on the length, complexity, and specific requirements of the content. You can refer to the tailored submission time through the price calculator available on our website.

• If there are any delays, we will communicate with you promptly to inform you of the revised delivery schedule.

Confidentiality

• We treat all submitted content as confidential and will not disclose it to any third parties without your consent and instructions.

• We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your data and ensure its confidentiality. However, we cannot guarantee absolute security in cases of unforeseen events or malicious activities beyond our control.

Copyright and Ownership

• You retain all rights and ownership of the content you submit for editing and proofreading.

• Our editors may provide suggestions and improvements, but they do not claim ownership or copyright of the content.

Limitation of Liability

• Our services are provided on an "as-is" basis without any warranty or guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

• We shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our services or any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the edited content.

Modification of Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be effective upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review the terms periodically for any changes.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai.

Indemnity and Warranty

• While we at Verbify strive to provide accurate and high-quality editing and proofreading services, we cannot guarantee absolute perfection in every aspect of the content we review. Therefore, we offer no warranty, express or implied, regarding the suitability, accuracy, or effectiveness of the edited material.

• You acknowledge and agree that they assume full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from the use or reliance upon the edited content. Moreover, you agree to indemnify and hold Verbify, its employees, and agents harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or expenses incurred as a result of their use of our services or the edited material.

Acceptance of Terms of Service

• By using our English editing and proofreading services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
